Jie Ouyang

Jie believes Landscape Architecture is a multi-disciplinary programme which requires designers to be extremely focused. Jie has been involved with projects form the beginning of the conceptual stage through to the field service, including mixed-use developments, large scale public parks, winning competitions for productive landscapes and cultural landscapes.

Apart from the ecological value and social benefit, Jie believes the genius loci also deserves to be revealed. The beauty, however, always comes from simplicity regardless of how extensive the design process can be. Jie will always be curious and fascinated by the process of revealing and applying values to the landscape morphology.
