Lise Benningen

MLA BED CMLI
Senior Associate

Lise sees her role as a Landscape Architect as a facilitator, to engage people with the natural world through playful and unexpected experiences. She approaches the design process first with recognising that we are working with living material, on existing narratives whether cultural, vegetative, animal or geological, and then collaborating across disciplines.

She is driven by the complex process of curation, advocacy and responsibility for future generations. She firmly believes that the design of landscapes is not an act, but a process of engagement.

Lise has recently been appointed as a member of the Landscape Institute Climate Change and Biodiversity Panel.
