Peter Chmiel

Peter is a Landscape Architect with over 30 years’ experience. His interest is the promotion of design quality and technical innovation through the synergy of landscape, architecture, nature, community and place.
Peter leads teams on a diverse range of UK and International projects and is responsible for the design direction and day-to-day management of the office, together with Andrew Grant and Keith French. He is actively involved in research and environmental design and has led a number of award-winning residential developments, educational schemes, cultural and heritage projects incorporating exemplary placemaking and green infrastructure strategies.
Peter has been a guest speaker at HCA design champion workshops and other seminars where he has presented his working experience on the RIBA Stirling Prize-winning Accordia, and ICON (overall winner of the 2010 Housing Design Awards). Peter has sat on several judging panels including the World Landscape Architecture Awards 2018 and Landscape Institute Awards.
